Woke up thinking about French artist JR’s “Pervasive Art” this morning.

These are images from his 2009 trip to Kenya, where he covered 2000 square meters of rooftops with photos of the women of Kibera. His large scale photographs became part of the documentary Women Are Heroes, released almost a year ago, which documents his amazing process. 

Like he said:

The streets are the largest art gallery in the world. 

I Believe I Can Fly (Flight of the Frenchies) is a documentary by Seb Montez that follows him and his friends as they travel the world highlining (walking a tightrope across two very high points) and baselining (jumping with a parachute from a high building or natural formation).  

Came across this doco when I was in Paris a few weeks back, but forgot to post it till now. I’m into extreme sports, but whether you are or not, this film is simply gorgeous:
