If you’ve ever wondered why Rita Wayworth was one of the most popular pin-ups during WWII, just look at this picture.
Frank Capra: “Film is one of the three universal languages, the other two: mathematics and music.”

I Believe I Can Fly (Flight of the Frenchies) is a documentary by Seb Montez that follows him and his friends as they travel the world highlining (walking a tightrope across two very high points) and baselining (jumping with a parachute from a high building or natural formation).
Came across this doco when I was in Paris a few weeks back, but forgot to post it till now. I’m into extreme sports, but whether you are or not, this film is simply gorgeous:
The Dude: It’s like what Lenin said… you look for the person who will benefit, and, uh, uh…
Donny: I am the walrus.
The Dude: You know what I’m trying to say…
Donny: I am the walrus.
Walter Sobchak: That fucking bitch…
The Dude: Oh yeah!
Donny: I am the walrus.
Walter Sobchak: Shut the fuck up, Donny! V.I. Lenin. Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov!
Donny: What the fuck is he talking about, Dude?
The Princess Bride reunion.
Absolutely adore this film. Inigo Montoya was my favorite. Pity Mandy Patinkin was a reunion no-show. Still, a wonderfully heart-warming interview with the rest of the cast, including Cary Elwes, Billy Crystal, Robin Wright, and Wallace Shawn, who was perfect as Vizzini. Somehow can’t imagine Rob Reiner casting Danny DeVito for the part.
